Abstract

Penurunan cycle time sebesar 10% dapat meningkatkan nilai OEE sebesar 10,20%.

Every company strives to provide the best possible service to its customers by delivering products on time. Therefore, product quality and production lead time are key factors that need to be continuously improved through the implementation of appropriate internal strategies. This research applies the lean manufacturing concept to identify waste throughout the value stream and determine activities that do not add value (non-value-added activities). In the initial stage, Big Picture Mapping is used to describe the overall process flow. Process Activity Mapping is then used to identify value-added, non-value-added, and necessary but non-value-added activities. Subsequently, Quality Filter Mapping is used to identify quality problems in greater detail, particularly the types of defects that occur. In the final stage, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is applied to reduce defects through the measurement of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). An OEE sensitivity analysis of operating time, cycle time, and defects is conducted to determine the factor that has the greatest influence on OEE improvement. The results indicate that cycle time is the most influential factor affecting the OEE value. A 10% reduction in cycle time can increase OEE by 10.20%.
