Abstract

Sistem informasi penjualan merupakan faktor penting untuk mengetahui kondisi terakhir dari kondisi penjualan produk perusahaan. Pengetahuan kondisi tersebut menjadi bahan untuk membuat keputusan-keputusan strategis untuk meningkatkan angka penjualan. Saat ini proses tersebut dinilai masih kurang optimal karena memakan waktu yang relatif lama. Dengan adanya sistem informasi penjualan yang dirancang ini, diharapkan mampu mengurangi keterlambatan informasi yang disampaikan oleh pihak accounting. Untuk merancang sistem informasi penjualan tersebut digunakan metode unified process. Metode tersebut merupakan salah satu metode perancangan perangkat lunak berdasar dari use case driven dengan menggunakan UML 2.0.

Sales Information System is an important in order to gather latest information about company sales information, thus can be used to support strategic decision to improve selling. Currently such process is not fully optimized because it takes relatively long time to deliver information. The information system that has been designed hopefully can reduce information delivery delay. The system mentioned is designed using unified process method, known as one method based from use case driven using UML 2.0.
