Abstract
Kematian ibu dan kematian balita menjadi salah satu indikator yang dapat menggambarkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dalam suatu wilayah. Salah satu target dalam Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adalah meminimalkan jumlah kematian ibu dan jumlah kematian balita. Jumlah kematian balita terdiri dari jumlah kematian bayi berusia 0–28 hari, bayi berusia 29 hari hingga 11 bulan, serta bayi berusia 12 bulan hingga 59 bulan. Provinsi Jawa Barat menjadi provinsi yang memiliki jumlah kematian ibu tertinggi di Indonesia, yaitu mencapai 16,1% dari total kematian ibu di tanah air. Selain itu, Provinsi Jawa Barat juga memiliki jumlah kematian balita yang cukup tinggi, yaitu sebanyak 10,5% dari total kematian balita di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya tindakan dari pemerintah untuk menekan jumlah kematian ibu dan jumlah kematian balita di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan analisis guna mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi jumlah kematian ibu dan jumlah kematian balita di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Faktor-faktor tersebut dapat dijadikan rekomendasi bagi pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat untuk dilakukan tindakan perbaikan. Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor tersebut, dapat digunakan metode Regresi Multivariat dan diperoleh hasil bahwa jumlah kematian ibu dan jumlah kematian balita di Provinsi Jawa Barat dipengaruhi oleh cakupan persalinan yang ditolong oleh nakes (X2), cakupan ibu nifas yang mendapatkan kapsul vitamin A (X3), persentase rumah tangga ber-PHBS (X4), jumlah bayi dengan BBLR (X5), serta jumlah puskesmas dan RS (X6), dengan ukuran kebaikan model sebesar 92,5%.

Maternal mortality and under-five mortality are indicators that can describe the welfare of communities in an area. One of the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is to minimize the number of maternal deaths and under-five deaths. The number of under-five deaths consists of deaths among infants aged 0–28 days, infants aged 29 days to 11 months, and infants aged 12 months to 59 months. West Java Province is the province with the highest number of maternal deaths in Indonesia, accounting for 16.1% of the total maternal deaths in the country. In addition, West Java Province also has a relatively high number of under-five deaths, accounting for 10.5% of the total under-five deaths in Indonesia. Therefore, government action is needed to reduce the number of maternal deaths and under-five deaths in West Java Province. Consequently, it is necessary to analyze the factors that influence the number of maternal deaths and under-five deaths in West Java Province. These factors can be used as recommendations for the West Java Provincial Government to take corrective measures. To identify these factors, the Multivariate Regression method can be applied, and the results show that the number of maternal deaths and under-five deaths in West Java Province is influenced by the coverage of deliveries assisted by health workers (X2), the coverage of postpartum mothers receiving vitamin A capsules (X3), the percentage of households practicing Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS) (X4), the number of infants with low birth weight (X5), and the number of public health centers and hospitals (X6), with a model goodness-of-fit measure of 92.5%.
