Abstract

Developing technology demands the availability of selular radio communication to enhance various activity, especially on metropolitan area in which customer mobility is increasing. How ever, high buildings often reduacing the coverage of base station due to path loss propagation. This, leads to the disturbanses the selular communication. On the TDMA selular radio system, peer-to-peer relaying is employed to improve the coverage of base station. By calculating path loss, lognormal shadowing and Rayleigh fading either with power control or without power control, it was indicated that relaying improved the coverage of base station, as the result the base station surve well. How ever the result was not effective on the sel with radius 0,5 Km and 2 Km. On the assume condition (frequency 2 GHz and power 1 Watt) peer-to-peer relaying gives maximum result if it was applied on the sel with radius 1 Km. That is improve the coverage 50%.
