Abstract

Pada saat sekarang ini Perkembangan teknologi sudah semakin maju sangat pesat. Sehingga dengan perkembangan teknologi ini telah banyak membantu manusia. Pekeljaan yang dahulu masih dikerjakan secara sendiri (manual) sekarang dapat dikerjakan secara otomatis. Industri-industri telah mendahului dalam penerapan otomasi industri (industrial · automation). Otomasi ini tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk diterapkan dalam rumah-rumah pribadi. Bahkan tak sedikit rumah yang telah dilengkapi sistem otomasi rumah (home automation). Otomasi rumah tidak hanya berfimgsi untuk mendukung kenyamanan saja. Diperlukan situasi yang aman untuk mencapai suasana yang nyaman. Oleh karena itu otomasi rumah bertujuan untuk keamanan dan kenyamanan para penggunanya. Otomasi rumah ini terdiri dari satu atau lebih mobile device, rangkaian minimum sebagai pengontrol (microcontroller, driver, sensor, IR transmitter dan IR receiver), dan sebuah remote PC (komputer yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi dengan mobile device dan perangkat elektronik pengontro/). Oleh karena itu pada Tugas Akhir ini, penulis membangun sebuah aplikasi system otomasi rumah melalui mobile device dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Bluetooth. Aplikasi ini dibuan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic .net.

Nowadays, the development of tecnology has been growing fast. So this development of tecnology has helped people. Long time ago Activities are still done manually but now They can be done automatically. Many Industries have done for application of industrial automation. This automation is possible to be used at house. In fact, Many houses have used home automation system. Home automation is not only used for making user comfortable but user also need safety situation for making user comfortable. So that Home automation has a pupose for making user comfortable and safety. Home automation consists of one or more mobile divece, set of electronics controlled (microcontroller, driver, sensor, IR transmitter dan IR receiver), and remote PC (computer which is used for communication with mobile device and set of electronics controlled). Because of that in this the final · project, the author establishes an application for Home Automation System with Bluetooth Mobile. This application is established with using programmable language VB .net
