Abstract

On the broadband wireless communications in the future any two challenges are multipath fading eliminating and wide spectrum efficiency. One technique for solving is OFDM. OFDM is multi carrier transmission; whereas each frequency is orthogonal, hence overlapping not interference occur. So, OFDM can changes multipath channel fading to flat channel fading. And the other side MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output) techniques can built parallel independent channel over spatial domain for send data stream complexity. And the important is this techniques can wide channel capacity without bandwidth. On the MIMO any three category are BLAST, STTC (Space Time Trellis Code) and STBC (Space Time Block Code). BLAST contains two sections are V-BLAST and D-BLAST. On the this research we using V-BLAST. In this research the study of application MIMO OFDM using selective frequency channel fading for finding system performance. Number of transmitter and receiver is 2 and 4 respectively. The performance system is error rate (including bit error rate and vector error rate) versus Et/No, and BER versus norm delay spread. For find BER lower or near 10-3 with 59,52 Mbps bit rate only 5 dB of SNR. In the other analysis for bandwidth we find efficiency bandwidth for MIMO OFDM is 31.72%.
