Abstract

Aplikasi RADAR Data Processing Server (RDP Server) merupakan aplikasi sentralisasi pengolahan data RADAR militer maupun sipil di wilayak Republik Indonesia. RDP Server yang sekarang digunakan, merupakan aplikasi monolithic yang belum bisa mendukung penambahan modul pengolahan data tanpa merubah kode program secara keseluruhan. Rekayasa ulang terhadap RDP Server diperlukan agar aplikasi ini bisa menangani penambahan modul pengolahan dari luar sistem. Sehingga untuk menambahkan sebuah modul pengolahan barn, tidak perlu merubah kode program yang sudah ada, melainkan hanya perlu menambahkan hasil kompilasi dari modul yang akan ditambahkan. Modul yang ditambahkan tersebut akan disebut sebagai plugin. Dengan menggunakan konsep plugin, diharapkan pengembangan RDP Server kedepan menjadi lebih mudah. Karena pihak pengembang tidak perlu direpotkan dengan kode yang sudah ada, melainkan hanya terfokus pada plugin yang akan dikembangkan.

RADAR Data Processing Server (RDP Server) is an application that sentralize the processing of militer RADAR data either civil RADAR data in Indonesian teritory. RDP Server application that curently used, is a monolithic one that doesn’t support the addition of processing module without recompiling the whole code of application. Reenginering of RDP Server becomes necessary in order that the application could handle the new module addition externaly. Thus, in order to add the new processing module, threre is no need in recoding the whole compiled kode, but only adding the compiled processing module. We can mention the additional modules as plugins. By implementing the plugin concept, further develompment of RDP Server becomes much easier. Because the developer only focus in developing the plugin without being dazed by the existing code.
