Abstract

Riset ini berisi tentang sistematika penelitian pada desain interior sebuah industri entertainment, di mana yang menjadi objek kajiannya adalah RedboXX Pub, Cafe & Resto. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat membantu proses awal perancangan untuk menghasilkan konsep dan hasil rancangan yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan. Fenomena saat ini adalah desain interior sebuah cafe dan pub tidak pernah menurun, terutama di kota-kota besar. Itu terjadi karena kebutuhan yang terus mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Hal ini yang mengakibatkan semakin ketatnya kompetisi sesama industri entertainment. Dalam kenyataan lain, banyaknya para komunitas otomotif yang mempunyai kesenangan yang sama, selain otomotif yaitu clubbing. Dalam kasus ini, RedboXX membutuhkan sebuah konsep baru di mana sebuah komunitas dapat tertampung di dalamnya. Selain itu, untuk menghadirkan nuansa yang kental dengan citra RedboXX sebagai industri entertainment terkemuka di Surabaya, di mana nuansa tersebut diharapkan akan membantu meningkatkan image RedboXX di mata masyarakat pada umumnya, dan benar-benar mewujudkan sebagai RedboXX “is the answer”. Dari gedung yang lama belum dapat memberikan sesuatu hal yang baru pada desain interiornya. Sehingga belum dapat mewadahi sebuah komunitas tertentu yang menginginkan adanya sebuah tempat yang dapat memenuhi kesenangan mereka. Maka dengan ini dipilihlah sebuah konsep baru pada RedboXX, yaitu sebuah RedboXX dengan tema Speed Racer. Dengan diangkatnya tema “Speed Racer”, diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan yang ada dan sekaligus sebagai atmosfer baru bagi RedboXX untuk dapat lebih optimal dan tetap survive pada ketatnya persaingan di dunia entertainment. Dalam desain interior yang baru ini akan menghadirkan nuansa racing dan futuris pada setiap sudut ruangannya, tanpa mengubah image yang sudah ada. Sehingga identitas diri perusahaan akan semakin kuat di mata masyarakat dan para konsumen. Mengapa futuris yang dipilih sebagai style/langgamnya? Karena futuris itu sangat dekat dengan dunia otomotif dan perkembangan teknologi, nuansa hi-tech futuris yang dihadirkan adalah yang lebih mengarah kepada otomotif. Pada perancangan ini data yang diperoleh dari sumber (data primer) dan data studi kasus lain (data sekunder) akan dikaji hingga menghasilkan suatu konsep interior RedboXX yang menghadirkan nuansa Speed Racer, di mana hasil akhirnya (output) akan disimulasikan berupa maket, sketsa-sketsa perspektif, gambar kerja, dan gambar 3D.

This research contains about systematic way of research at interior design an Entertainment Industry, where becoming its study object is redbo:XX Pub, Cafe & Restaurant. Expected by this research can assist the process early scheme to yield the concept and result of correct device according to requirement. Phenomenon in this time the design interior a Cafe and Pub have never stop especially in metropolis. That is happened because non-stopped requirement keep abreast of the era. These matters resulting progressively tighten the Industrial humanity competition of Entertainment. In other, dissimilar fact, to the number of all community automotives having same easiness, besides automotives that is Clubbing. In this case, redbo:XX, requiring a new Concept where a community can be accommodated in it. Others to attend the nuance which full with the image of redbo:XX as notable Entertainment Industry in Surabaya, where the nuance expected will assist to improve the image redbo:XX in eye of society generally, and realize as redbo:XX "is the answer". From the old building not yet earned to the new interior design. So that not yet earned to place a certain community wishing the existence of a place which can fulfill their easiness. Hence is herewith selected by a new concept at redbo:XX, that is a redbo:XX with the theme of Speed Racer. Lifted of the theme "Speed Racer", expected can become the solution for existing problems and as new Atmosphere for redbo:XX to earn more optimal and remain to survive at tightening the emulation in Entertainment world. In new interior design will attend the nuance of Racing and Futuristic in each its column angle, corner, without altering image there. So the identity of company itself will gain strength the Society's eye and the entire consumer. Why Futuristic selected as the style? Because that Futuristic close with the world of technological automotives growth and nuance of hi-tech Futuristic attended by more instructing to Automotives. At this scheme the data obtained from source (data primary) and the data of the other study case (secondary data) will be studied till produce an concept of interior redbo:XX attending nuance of Speed Racer, where its end result (output) simulation will in the form of maquette, in perspectives sketch's, draw the job, and draw 3D.
