Abstract

PLTU PAJTON UNIT 5 dan 6 merupalcan pembangkit listrik dengan batubara sebagai bahan bakar utamanya dioperasikan oleh PT. YTL POWER JAWA TIMUR dan merupakan IPP (Independent Power Producer) terbesar kedua di Indonesia. Output dari unit ini digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan /istrik pulau Jawa - Bali, karena hal itulah perlu dilakukan suatu analisa terhadap batuba~a yang terletak di stockpile sebagai bahan bakar utama untuk menghasilkan listrik.. Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan metode simulasi. Pemodelan sistem kontrol stockpile dibual menggunakan software Powersim Studio. Model yang dibuat bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara jumlah batubara untuk operasional dan jumlah batubara yang ada di stockpile serta hubungannya dengan proses produksi /istrik. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini dilakukan analisa terhadap kapasitas stockpile, jadwal pemesanan batubara Cost Benefit Analyis. Dari hasil simulasi akan diketahui keakuratan quantity of forecast, kapasitas optimal stockpile serta dampak dari sistem kontrol tersebut terhadap kondisi finansial perusahaan.

PLTU PAITON UNIT 5 and 6 are coal fired power station that operated by PT. YTL POWER JAWA TIMUR as the second largest IPP (Independent Power Producer) in Indonesia. Output from this unit are use to full fill the demand of electricity at Java - Bali island, because of that it is important to make an analysis about the coal as the main fuel that kept at stockpile as main fuel to produce electricity. This Final Project using simulation method Control system model of stockpile made by Powersim Studio program The model that have been made are used to know the relationship between quantity of coal at stockpile and for operational purpose also its relation with process of electricity production. To reach the objective of this Final Project the analysis concern to capacity of stockpile, scheduling for ordering coal also Cost Benefit Analyis. From the simulation known the quantity of forecast accuracy, optimum capacity of stockpile also the effect from the control system with financial condition of this company.
