Abstract

Dalam perdagangan ikan tinggi rendahnya harga ikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh mutu. Pada kenyataannya, ikan segar yang ada dipasaran diminati oleh banyak konsumen dan harganya lebih mahal. Pennasalahan yang sering ditemui di lapangan bagaimana membawa ikan hasil tangkapan ke darat dalam keadaan tetap segar. Dengan menggunakan metode gabungan antara Es Kering dan Eutectic Gel dapat digabungkan kelebihan dari keduanya. Es kering CO2 padat digunakan untuk menahan panas dari lingkungan sedangkan Eutectic Gel yang bersifat cepat menyerap udara shingga dapat mmprtahankan temperatu dingin lebih lama. Penggunaan Es kering dan Eutectic Gel selain fungsinya sama sebagai sistem pendingin. Es Kering (CO2 pada1), mempunyai kelebihan lain yaitu dapat menurunkan temperatur ruang pendingin dan dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri. Dengan penggunaan sistem pendingin campuran ini diharapkan kualitas ikan dapat dijaga kesegarannya. Dalam penulisan tugas akhir ini, penulis mengambil topic mengenai perancangan system pendingin kapal ikan tradisional dengan menggunakan es kering campuran dengan eutctic gel yang diharapkan dapat memberikan suatu rancangan system pendingin yang cukup sederhana akan tetapi memberikan keuntungan yang lebih dibandingkan dengan menggunakan es batu.

Problems which often in field of how to bring the haul fish to land in a state of remain to be fresh. By using merger method of Dry Ice and Eutectic Gel can be joined excess from both. Dry ice used to detain the heat from environment while Eutectic Gel having the character of quickly permeate the air so that can maintain the temperature chilled longer. Use of Dry ice and Eutectic Gel besides its function [is] of equal as cooler system. Dry Ice, having other excess that is can degrade the temperature of cold storage and can pursue the bacterium growth. With the use of this mixture cooler system is] expected by a fish quality can be taken care of its freshness. In this final duty writing, writer take the topic of concerning scheme of traditional system fishing boat cooler by using dry ice of mixture by eutectic gel expected can give an simple enough device system cooler however giving more compared to to advantage use ice cube.
