Abstract

For the Indonesia, there is three data which in fact can be used for the predicted of fuel problem in this time, namely: (1) After reaching its top in the year 1980, production of Indonesia oil decreased than almost 1.6 million barrel I day, in this time only 1.2 million barrel I day, (2) Growth conswne the tired energy home affairs 10% per year, and (3) Tendency of oil price a world of increasing after monetary crisis which knock over the Asia in the year 1998. For that require it should be found the correct solution, that is by changing over at new source energy one of them is flow energy. Beside that, the source of flow energy also have big enough potential to develop. In this research the source of that flow energy used to supply the electricity needs as an alternative electrical generator in harbor area, through attempt by making H-Darrieus wind turbine model using computer simulation with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software. In this final project I make the wind turbine to be placed at strain to get to get sea water flow through modeling using computer simulation with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software help. The use of this wind turbine is to supply electricity power as an alternative electrical generator. The wind turbine made represent the vertical type wind turbine and have four blade. Size measure of Blade have the length chord and high equal to 10 mm and 100 mm. Diameter of wind Turbine is 100 mm. This Wind turbine rotate because of lift force which is result from the blade form.
