Abstract
Leachate which produce from garbage extraction, is liquid with high concentrate of dissolved and suspended material. Pollutant which implied consist of organic and anorganic chemical substance, produce from garbage decomposition and water dissolved inside heap garbage that source from rain, drainage, groundwater, and another source around TPA. TPA leachate have high toxic characteristic, therefore this pollutant must be treated before wasted to the river. This research goal is to find parameter value of removal of turbidity, COD and Cr contain. The research was done at laboratory using electrocoagulation method with continuous flow. Variables used are anode type and flow rate as influent. The result proved that electrocoagulation method is effective for degrading turbidity, COD and Cr contain. The research using Al/C electrode has result turbidity degradation until 71,04%. Whereas using Fe/C electrode could reach turbidity degradation up to 71,41% with 5 hours time contact, COD degradation until 86,67% and Cr degradation until 21,90%.
