Abstract

Eksplorasi minyak dan gas bumi di Indonesia diprediksi akan mengalami
peningkatan yang cukup pesat pada tahun 2019 yang menyebabkan utilisasi kapal
supply semakin meningkat seiring dengan SKK Migas menyetujui dan
merekomendasi 18 rencana pengembangan lapangan migas selama 2015. Pada
Tugas Akhir ini dibahas mengenai optimasi perancangan awal kapal supply
dengan melakukan optimasi pada ukuran utama kapal dan fungsi obyektif
memaksimumkan DWT dengan constraint berupa batasan ukuran utama, batasan
stabilitas, dan batasan hambatan kapal. Selain dilakukan optimasi ukuran utama,
dilakukan perhitungan awal hambatan kapal, kebutuhan daya mesin induk (BHP),
estimasi awal berat kapal beserta titik beratnya, dan perhitungan awal stabilitas
statis kapal. DWT kapal dipilih sebagai fungsi obyektif karena dalam prakteknya
DWT merupakan komponen yang menentukan apakah kapal tersebut efisien atau
tidak dalam operasinya. Dari analisa dan perhitungan yang dilakukan pada Tugas
Akhir ini, didapatkan ukuran utama kapal antara lain LBP = 46.29 m, B = 12.04
m, H = 4,97 m, T = 3,73 m, CB = 0.669, dan Vs = 10 knot.

Oil and gas exploration in Indonesia will predicted to grow rapidly at 2019 that
will increase utilization of Platform Supply Vessel along with 18 oil and gas field
development plan that approved and recommended by SKK Migas in 2015. This
final project are discussing and solving about optimization in preliminary stage of
Platform Supply Vessel design by optimizing the ship’s principal dimension and
objective function to maximize DWT with dimension constraint, ship stability
constraint, and ship resistance constraint. In addition to optimize ship’s principal
dimension, ship’s resistance and powering, preliminary estimation of ship’s
weight, and preliminary static stability of ship will be calculated. DWT selected as
objective function because DWT is one of components to show the peformance
and efficiency of ship’s operation. From optimization and calculation results in
this final project, ship’s principal dimension will be obtained and the results are
LBP = 46.29 m, B = 12.04 m, H = 4.97 m, T = 3.73 m, CB = 0.669, and Vs = 10
knot.
