Abstract

Sintesis Ni-ZIF-8 dengan persentase doping logam Ni 0-15% terhadap logam Zn telah berhasil dilakukan dengan mereaksikan seng nitrat, nikel klorida dan 2-metilimidazol dalam media DMF (N’N-dimetilformamida) yang dipanaskan pada suhu 120°C selama 24 jam. Difraktogram XRD padatan hasil sintesis menunjukkan puncak-puncak utama pada skitar sudut 2θ = 7,3; 10,3; 12,7; 16,4 dan 18,0°, yang merupakan puncak karakteristik dari padatan Ni-ZIF-8. Spektra FTIR dari Ni-ZIF-8 hasil sintesis memiliki puncak serapan pada bilangan gelombang sekitar 421 cm-1 yang menunjukkan adanya ikatan seng dengan nitrogen dalam Ni-ZIF-8 dan sekitar 1.256 cm-1 yang diduga adalah ikatan nikel dengan nitrogen. Dari pengukuran dengan metode adsorpsi N2 diperoleh luas permukaan 1249 m²/g (ZIF-8) dan 1144 m²/g , 1074 m²/g, 997 m²/g (berturut-turut untuk NiZ-5, NiZ-10 dan NiZ-15). Hasil analisis termal dengan TGA menunjukkan bahwa Ni-ZIF-8 hasil sintesis memiliki stabilitas termal pada suhu hingga 600 °C. ===================================================================================================== Synthesis of Ni-ZIF-8 has been carried out by reaction of zinc nitrate, nickel chloride and 2-methylimidazole in DMF (N’Ndimetilformamida) at 120°C for 24 hours. The difractograms of materials exhibited strong peaks about at 2θ = 7,3; 10,3; 12,7; 16,4 and 18,0°, which were the characteristic peaks to ZIF-8 materials. Functional group of the Ni-ZIF-8 materials appeared in the FTIR spectra as a peak at about 410 cm-1 which indicated the presence of zinc bonded to the nitrogen in Ni-ZIF-8 and about 1.256 cm-1 alleged the presence of nickel bonded to nitrogen in Ni-ZIF-8. The result of surface area measurement by N2 adsorption method of ZIF-8 was 1249 m²/g (ZIF-8) dan 1144 m²/g , 1074 m²/g, 997 m²/g (respectively for NiZ-5, NiZ-10 dan NiZ-15). The result of TGA measurement showed that Ni-ZIF-8 had thermal stability in the temperature until 600 °C.
