Abstract

Pada sistem kelistrikan, sangat dibutuhkan kontinuitas daya listrik agar tercapainya proses produksi yang optimal. PT. Pusri Palembang adalah pabrik yang memproduksi pupuk dan bahan kimia. Beberapa tahun terakhir PT. Pusri Palembang telah melakukan ekspansi penambahan beban dan generator, sehingga dilakukan integrasi pabrik baru dengan pabrik lama untuk menjaga kontinuitas daya listrik. Dengan adanya penambahan tersebut, perlu dilakukan ulang koordinasi proteksi pada PT. Pusri Palembang. Maka dari itu tugas akhir ini difokuskan untuk membahas studi koordinasi proteksi dengan mempertimbangkan ekspor-impor daya. Analisis hubung singkat dibutuhkan untuk mendapatkan koordinasi proteksi yang tepat dengan menggunakan overcurrent relay dan directional overcurrent relay. Sedangkan analisis aliran daya dilakukan untuk menentukan parameter directional power relay yang digunakan sebagai backup terakhir apabila terjadi kegagalan pada skema load shedding. Dengan mengatur grading time dan time delay antar rele sesuai standar IEEE 242 akan didapatkan hasil yang tepat pada koordinasi proteksi tersebut, sehingga dapat melindungi gangguan berupa arus beban lebih dan arus hubung singkat.

In order to achieve the optimization of production process, power continuity is needed in electrical system. PT. Pusri Palembang is a factory that produce fertilizer and chemical materials. In recent years, PT. Pusri Palembang had already done the expansion for a new plant and a generator, consequently the integration of new plant with old plant is important to maintain the power continuity. Within this replenishment, PT. Pusri Palembang have to change the setting of coordination protection from its previous state. Therefore, this final project is focused on discussing the coordination protection studies considering export-import power. The analysis of short circuit is required to obtain the the proper coordination using overcurrent relay and directional overcurrent relay. Whereas the analysis of power flow is required to determine parameters of directional overcurrent relay which is used for the last backup if there is a failure in load shedding scheme. By arranging the grading time and time delay between those relay according to IEEE 242 standard, the proper coordination can be done. As the final result, the coordination protection can protect the system from disruption of overload current and short circuit current.
