Abstract
Library or reading room for college are needed as basic information instruments for academicians, especially for students. In order to fulfill the requirement, a reading room should be equipped with supporting facilities and sufficiently collection. A reading room in Urban and Regional Planning Department, Institute Technology of Sepuluh Nopember is built to serve all of students need and unleash the lecture. In order to increase the performance, we should identify the students’s satisfactory level. This research aims to identify the performance satisfactory of reading room based on students perception, which be achieved by: (1.) Analysis of influenced factors using Likert scale and descriptive statistics. (2.) Interpretation service satisfaction level using descriptive analysis. The result show that the students satisfactory level in reading room performance are majority at high category with a percentage of 39.90%. while based on the average value of 96.42 indicates that the satisfactory level is in the medium category. Students satisfactory level with the highest percentage by influenced factor is reading room service with a percentage of 80.12%. Instead lowest satisfaction is on book collections factors with a percentage of 63.56%. The low satisfaction due to inadequate space capacity, renewal of the collection, storage facilities goods, the internet and the power source.
