Abstract
Di era teknologi yang berkembang pesat, berbagai metode survei telah banyak digunakan salah satunya dengan cara penginderaan jauh menggunakan satelit. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa proses perekaman citra satelit diliput dari wahana (satelit) yang bergerak di atas permukaan bumi pada ketinggian ratusan kilometer, sehingga menyebabkan citra satelit memiliki distorsi geometrik. Untuk mengurangi pengaruh distorsi geometrik objek pada citra, dilakukan koreksi geometrik dengan cara ortorektifikasi.
Pleiades merupakan satelit penghasil citra satelit resolusi tinggi yang dibuat oleh perusahaan Airbus Defence & Space. Citra satelit yang dihasilkan memiliki resolusi spasial 0,5 meter.
Sebagai acuan bagi kegiatan pemanfaatan ruang yang lebih rinci dalam Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW), maka dibuat Rencana Detail Tata Ruang (RDTR) dengan peta skala 1:5.000 yang telah diatur oleh Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG 2015).
Dalam proses ortorektifikasi citra satelit untuk pembuatan peta skala 1 : 5000 ini, digunakan titik kontrol tanah atau Ground Control Point (GCP) untuk proses koreksi geometris dan data Digital Elevation Model (DEM).
Pada penelitian ini, didapat jumlah optimal penggunaan GCP untuk proses ortorektifikasi pada metode Rational Function sebanyak 21 GCP dengan menggunakan polinomial orde 2.

In this era, variety of survey method has been used, such as satellite remote sensing. As we know that satellite remote sensing process was covered from satellite that move over the surface of the earth at several hundred kilometers, causing satellite image has geometric distortion. To reduce the object geometric distortion effect on image, geometric correction was chosen by means of orthorectified
Pleiades is high-resolution remote sensing satellite created by Airbus Defence & Space. Satellite image that generated has 0.5 meters spatial resolution.
As a reference for detailed space utilization activities on Spatial Plan (RTRW), then Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR) is created by map with scale 1: 5,000 which has been set by Geospatial Information Agency (BIG 2015).
In the satellite image otorectifycation process for create map with scale 1:5000, Ground Control Point (GCP) and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is used for geometric correction process.
In this research, obtained the optimal amount of GCP for ortorectifycation process in Rational Function method is 21 GCP using second-order polynomial
