Abstract

Suatu perusahaan perlu untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas dari produk yang dihasilkan. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan pengendalian kualitas proses statistik (Statistical Process Control). Salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan yaitu penerapan diagram kontrol X ̅ VSSI (Variable Sample Size and Sampling Interval). Diagram kontrol X ̅ VSSI digunakan untuk mendeteksi lebih awal adanya signal – signal yang terjadi dalam suatu proses. Pada tugas akhir ini dibahas penerapan pengendalian kualitas statistik menggunakan diagram kontrol X ̅ Shewhart dan X ̅ VSSI dalam mengendalikan tingkat kecacatan produk di PT. Pacific Angkasa Abadi. Penerapan diagram kontrol X ̅ Shewhart dan X ̅ VSSI menunjukkan bahwa data proses produksi pipa besi belum terkendali secara statistik. Penerapan diagram kontrol X ̅ VSSI memberikan hasil bahwa diagram ini lebih sensitif untuk mendeteksi data yang out of control dibandingkan dengan diagram kontrol X ̅ Shewhart. ================================================================================================================= A company needs to keep and improve the quality of the production produced. It can be done by controlling the statistic process (Statistical Process Control). One of the tools that can be used is applying the X ̅ VSSI (Variable Sample Size and Sampling Interval) control chart. The X ̅ VSSI control chart is used to detect in advance the signals happen in a process. In this final task, discussed the tool of statistic quality control using X ̅ Shewhart and X ̅ VSSI control chart in controlling the level of product defect in PT. Pacific Angkasa Abadi. that application of control chart X ̅ Shewhart and X ̅ VSSI shows that the data of steel pipe production is not controlled yet statistically. The application of X ̅ VSSI control chart gives result that the chart is more sensitive to detetct out of control data instead of using X ̅ Shewhart control chart.
