Abstract

Pengujian hipotesis dalam inferensi statistik sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Salah satu pendekatan dalam analisis regresi adalah regresi semiparametrik spline truncated. Kajian teoritis tentang pengujian hipotesis dilakukan untuk mendapatkan statistik uji dan distribusi statistik uji. Kajian teoritis tentang pengujian hipotesis pada regresi semiparametrik spline truncated belum pernah dilakukan. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini dilakukan kajian pengujian hipotesis secara simultan baik itu secara teori maupun terapan. Kajian terapan dilakukan pada data Angka Partisipasi Kasar (APK) SLTA di Provinsi Jawa Timur pada Tahun 2015. Karena APK SLTA di Provinsi Jawa Timur masih rendah, sedangkan Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan provinsi yang maju baik dari segi perekonomian maupun infrastrukturnya. dan distribusi statistik uji yang dihasilkan mengikuti distribusi F_((█((p+1)+(m+r)q,n-(p+1)+(m+r)q)) ). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Likelihood Ratio Test (LRT). Pada kajian terapan yang diaplikasikan pada data APK SLTA di Provinsi Jawa Timur Tahun 2015, model yang didapatkan adalah dengan menggunakan kombinasi knot (3,1,2,3) dengan koefisien determinasi (R^2 ) sebesar 83,19 persen. Variabel yang signifikan adalah jumlah penduduk miskin, rasio jenis kelamin, rata-rata anggota rumah tangga (ART), tingkat pengangguran terbuka (TPT) dan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) perkapita. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan masukan untuk mengambil kebijakan bagi Provinsi Jawa Timur dalam meningkatkan APK SLTA.

Hypothesis testing in statistical inference is very important. An approach in the regression analysis is truncated spline semiparametric regression. Theoretical study of hypothesis testing was done to obtain test statistics and distributions of test statistical. Theoretical study of hypothesis testing in truncated spline semiparametric regression has not been done. Therefore, in this research was conducted both the theoretical and applied study on simultaneous hypothesis testing. Applied study conducted on upper secondary school gross enrollment rate (GER) data in East Jawa Province in 2015. The GER of upper secondary school in East Java is still low, while East Jawa Province is advanced in terms of both the economy and infrastucture. and distribution of test statictics generated following the distribution F_((█((p+1)+(m+r)q,n-(p+1)+(m+r)q)) ). The method used is the Likelihood Ratio Test (LRT). In the applied study of APK upper secondary school in East Jawa Province in 2015, a model which is obtained by using a combination of knots (3,1,2,3) with the coefficient of determination (R2) is 83,19 percent. Significant variables are the number of poor people, sex ratio, the average members of the household, unemployment rate and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita. This result is expected to be used as input for taking policy for East Java Province in improving APK upper secondary school.
