Abstract

Kapal Pengangkut Ikan Hidup merupakan kapal yang berfungsi untuk mengangkut ikan hidup dari suatu pelabuhan ke pelabuhan lain. Kebutuhan pengangkut ikan hidup semakin meningkat seiring dengan kebutuhan konsumen. Untuk memenuhi hal tersebut dibutuhkan perancangan kapal pengangkut ikan hidup yang sesuai. Oleh karena itu dilakukan perancangan sistem bongkar muat kapal pengangkut ikan hidup yang pada penelitian ini menggunakan kapal 300 GT. Metode yang digunakan adalah perancangan key plan yang didasari dari berbagai dasar teori dan tinjauan pustaka yang kemudian dilakukan perhitungan dan pertimbangan kebutuhan. Setelah perhitungan selesai dilanjutkan dengan pemilihan spesifikasi alat-alat yang digunakan. Sehingga dilakukan analisa data dan pembahasan. Pada perancangan ini dilakukan perbandingan antara sistem bongkar muat dengan menggunakan vakum dan menggunakan jaring. Perencanaan diameter pipa untuk bongkar muat ikan disesuaikan dengan kecepatan aliran dan ukuran ikan kerapu yakni 250 mm. Kapasitas bongkar muat yang direncanakan berdasarkan ukuran pipa dan kecepatan aliran air untuk ikan kerapu sebesar 100 m3/jam. Waktu evakuasi/ waktu pemvakuman pada setiap ruang muat/ palka selama 4 menit 40 detik. Total ikan yang dapat dimuat sebanyak 70430 ekor ikan kerapu. Berdasarkan perhitungan total waktu bongkar muat dengan menggunakan sistem vakum yakni sebesar 16 Jam. Pada sistem jaring kebutuhan jaring tangan disesuaikan dengan ukuran ikan kerapu dan jumlah palka. Ukuran pukat kantong disesuaikan dengan ukuran ruang muat/palka. Berdasarkaan peraturan FAO mengenai alat perikanan ukuran mata jaring pukat kantong didapat sebesar 5,7 cm. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan waktu total bongkar muat menggunakan jaring yakni 19 jam 34 menit. ======================================================================================== Live Fish Carrier was a ship that used for carry life fish from port to another port. Demand of Life Fish in certain country was increasing just as the increasing of the consumer need. in order to fulfill that, its necessary to planning a design for Live Fish Carrier. So, in order to meet that demand its required to design loading-unloading system for live fish carrier that meet the criteria of its. It has been considerated to use a 300 GT ship for the design. The method of planning is consist of certain step. The first step was key plan design which is based on theory and previous observation. After that design advanced to calculation and a particular consideration depend on the requirements. If its done then advanced to choosing components that required for the design. With the result that its advanced to do the analysis and research. Its compared between the vacuum system design and net system design. Based on the requirement and calculation. The pipe diameter design was based on flow of fluid and the size of average grouper fish as 250 mm diameter was to be sufficient. Capacity of the vacuum system loading-unloading based on flow of fluid and the size of grouper fish was 100 m3/hour. The evacuation time or vacuuming time for each cargo was 4 minutes 40 seconds. Its calculated the total amount of fish that can be carried was 70,430 grouper fish. The total time of loading-unloading using the vacuum system was 16 hours. In net system, the requirements of hand fishnet was based on the size of grouper fish and the amount of cargo. The size of purse seine net was based on the dimension of each cargo. Based on FAO fisheries & aquaculture rules the size of mesh for purse seine was 5.7 cm. The time of loading-unloading using the net system was 19 hours 34 minutes.
