Abstract
Kesehatan manusia merupakan kesehatan secara holistik baik jiwa maupun raga. Kesehatan mental merupakan unsur vital bagi produktifitas manusia. Di era Globalisasi seperti ini tingkatan stress masyarakat meningkat, sehingga dibutuhkan fasilitas penunjang perawatan kesehatan jiwa. Rumah Sakit Jiwa merupakan satu satunya rujukan utama bagi perawatan jiwa masyarakat.
Dewasa ini, pengembangan peran serta lingkungan fisik terhadap kesehatan mental pasien cukup pesat. Sehingga dapat menjadi literature dalam Perencanaan re-desain interior Rumah Sakit Jiwa Lawang Malang. Perencanaan re-desain interior RSJ berdasarkan observasi obyek desain, wawancara pihak petugas medis rumah sakit, maupun wawancara dari pihak keluarga pasien.
Hasil yang diperoleh berupa konsep perancangan Rumah Sakit Jiwa dengan konsep lingkungan terapeutik. Oleh karena itu, dapat disusun sebuah konsep dan redesain dengan konsep desain interior Rumah Sakit Jiwa Lawang Malang dengan konsep Terpaeutik yang mengedepankan kenyamanan pasien dari aspek sirkulasi dan desain ruangan terapi dari Rumah Sakit Jiwa Lawang.

Human health is a complete health of physical and mental. Mental health is a vital element for human productivity. In nowadays where globalization era is uprising such stress levels are rising, so it needs to support more the mental health by such as facility. Mental Hospital is the only main reference for community mental care.
Today, role of the physical environment on mental health patientsdevelops quite rapidly. It can had better rebuildthe interior design Mental Hospital in Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat. Redesigning the interior design processcoversthe observation, the interview of medical staff, and patient's family too.
Results are obtained by the form of design concepts of Psychiatric Hospital combining with the concept of the therapeutic environment. Therefore, it can be prepared a concept to rebuildthe interior design concept Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat with Therapheutic concept that guarantees the more comfort patients from circulation and design aspects of the therapy room in Lawang Mental Hospital.
