Abstract
Beton geopolimer merupakan beton geosintetik yang tidak menggunakan semen portland sebagai bahan dasar,tetapi menggunakan bahan pozzolan berupa fly ash dan limbah sandblasting ( silica fume ) yang banyak mengandung unsur alumina (Al) dan silika (Si) dimana unsur tersebut sangat memegang peranan penting dalam mempengaruhi karakteristik beton geopolimer. Limbah Sandblasting dipilih sebagai bahan dasar penelitian ini karena kandungan silika dan alumina yang tinggi dari proses penyemprotan abrasive material biasanya berupa pasir silika dengan tekanan tinggi pada suatu permukaan (baja atau besi) dengan tujuan untuk menghilangkan material kontaminasi dan merupakan bahan addictive pengganti semen pada konsentrasi tertentu dapat berpengaruh terhadap mutu beton dengan meningkatkan kuat tekan beton.
Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa campuran limbah sandblasting dan fly ash menghasilkan beton geopolimer lebih baik daripada hanya menggunakan fly ash sebagai bahan dasar pengganti semen portland dan dapat mengurangi ketergantungan beton geopolimer terhadap fly ash.

Geosynthetic geopolymer concrete is concrete that not using portland cement as a base material, but using pozzolan form of fly ash and waste sandblasting (silica fume) contains elements of alumina (Al) and silica (Si). The element plays an important role in influencing the characteristics of geopolymer concrete. Sandblasting waste was chosen as the basic ingredients of this research because the content of silica and alumina high from the process of spraying abrasive material is usually in the form of silica sand with a high pressure on a surface (steel or iron) with the aim to eliminate material contamination and is addictive replacement for cement in certain concentration can affect the quality of the concrete by enhancing strong hit concrete.
The results of the testing that has been done shows that the mixture of waste fly ash sandblasting and produce geopolymer concrete better than just using fly ash as a replacement for portland cement raw materials and can reduce the dependency geopolymer concrete against the fly ash
