Abstract

Hotel Odua Weston Jambi merupakan hotel yang terdiri dari 8 lantai dan terletak di kawasan jambi yang berada pada daerah rawan gempa. Gedung ini menggunakan beton konvesional pada struktur balok dan kolomnya. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan modifikasi dengan desain arsitekrural yang istimewa untuk memaksimalkan fungsi ruang yaitu pada lantai 2 akan dibuat lantai pertemuan yang luas tanpa kolom ditengah ruangan.Dalam perancangan strukturnya digunakan sistem struktur Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus (SRPMK) sesuai peraturan SNI 03-2847-2013 dan SNI 1726-2012. Sebagai solusi dari adanya ruangan yang luas tanpa kolom ditengah ruangan maka digunakan struktur pelat pratekan.

Odua Weston Hotel, Jambi, is an eight-floor hotel and located in prone to earth-quake area in which conventional concrete was used for its beam and column stuctures. Considering Jambi’s economic and mobilization growth, some hotels should try to accommodate business activities, and one of them is conference and convention centres facilities. Odua Weston Hotel plan to maximize its second floor for mentioned function by removing its columns in the hall centre. his final assignment purpose was to maximize the second-floor’s function by modify its architectural design.Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SMRFS) approach was used in structure design, consistent to SNI 03-2847-2013 dan SNI 1726-2012. And to compensate the nedds of a spacious hall without any column in the centre, prestressed concrete slab is used to solved this problem.
