Abstract

Mengenalkan kewirausahaan dalam bentuk perkuliahan wajib adalah salah satu opsi pendidikan yang diambil
oleh Jurusan Sistem Informasi, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) berdasarkan kurikulum 2009-2013.
Salah satu luaran matakuliah ini adalah usaha nyata di bidang teknologi informasi (TI) yang menghasilkan
secara finansial. Tantangan terbesar dari matakuliah ini adalah bagaimana mengembangkan ide bisnis TI yang
unik dan diharapkan mampu bersaing di pasar. Oleh sebab itu, studi ini menjelaskan langkah-langkah dalam
mengembangkan ide usaha TI. Di sini, kami menggunakan kombinasi dari enam komponen TI untuk membangun
ide usaha TI. Di akhir, kami mendiskusikan kelemahan dan kelebihan metode ini dalam pembelajaran
kewirausahaan TI di perguruan tinggi."============================================================================================="
Entrepreneurship education is essential for the Department of Information Systems, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh
Nopember (ITS). In order to address the 2009-2013 curriculums’ requirement, the department provides 3-credit
mandatory course for enterpreneurship. One of the outcomes of this course is to provide students with experiences
in establishing a real IT business that can generate profit. The major challenge of this course is to develop unique
IT business ideas, which are expected to be able to compete in the market. This study proposes steps to build IT
business ideas by combining six IT components. In the end, we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this
method to enhance the entrepreneurship education at university.
