Abstract

Tarif Dasar Listrik(TDL) semakin lama semakin naik.

Electricity fare is increasing by the time. Consumers should be more careful to save power consumption. On the other hand, Indonesia’s ability of the electricity production is not sufficient given by people still experiencing frequent rolling blackouts also requires attention to the common interest. In general, most of the electricity consumption of a building is air conditioner. And there's usually more than one air conditioner in a building. It required careful usage of AC to respond to both of the problems mentioned above. One way to save on air conditioning electricity consumption is to keep the filter clean. Therefore, in this final project I will design the AC filter cleanliness detection by measuring the AC power using the ACS712 and measure the room temperature using LM35. From both of these variables by using microcontroller, the system will be able to calculate cooling time and detect the condition of cleanliness AC filter and display it via computer simulation. the ac cooling speed of AC Haier HSU-05LEA03 when dirty is 841.8367 s/0C, 526.2295 s/0C when clean by margin of 315.6072 s/0C. AC cooling speed of Sharp AH-AP5MHL with lo fan mode is 1462.5 s/0C when dirty and 621 s/0C when clean by margin of 841.5 s/0C. AC cooling speed of Sharp AH-AP5MHL with med fan mode is 546 s/0C when dirty and 358 s/0C when clean by margin of 188 s/0C. AC cooling speed of Sharp AH-AP5MHL with hi fan mode is 246 s/0C when dirty and 205.5 s/0C when clean by margin of 40.5 s/0C.
