Abstract

East part of Surabaya City had seawater intrution and had impact for ground water aquifer, then for those reason, Surabaya has bad quality of groundwater that contains unusual salinity. To investigate this cases, researcher use Electrical Resisitivity Method with Wenner-Schlumberger configuration to indicate salinity trouble in East Surabaya. Observation data have been collected with some parameters, such as ground water level, salinity, pH, TDS (Total Dissolve Solid), and conductivity. Acquisition in this research took in 3 places, those places located in Sutorejo, Klampis and ITS Campus with 2D Resistivity Method and Inducted Polarization. Step for processing data in it are using RES2DINV software. From interpretation section in Sutorejo case, at depth of 0.6-3.5m or the upper layer is expected for seawater intrusion with resisitivity range from 0.734 – 6.32 Ohm.m at middle part to northeast part of resisitivity section. This interpretation are also supported by the results of research from the Induced Polarization method that showed the value of 0.202 msec at a depth of 0.6-3.5 meters.
