Abstract

Blade pada turbin angin bergerak dikarenakan adanya gaya lift dan gaya drag yang dihasilkan. Selama proses konversi energi gerak angin menjadi energi listrik, tidak dipungkiri terdapat loss energy atau energi yang hilang. Salah satu teknik optimalisasi daya pada turbin angin yakni dengan menerapkan penggunaan kontrol sudut pitch pada bilah turbin agar keluaran daya turbin angin tetap pada kondisi optimal. Pada perancangan turbin angin tersebut, komponen yang dibutuhkan adalah Blade turbin angin, motor servo sebagai aktuator, rotational connector serta rotary encoder sebagai transmitter. Hasil pengujian prototype turbin angin menunjukkan nilai Power Coefficient (CP) Tebesar 0,57510. Dengan menerapkan metode kontrol PID (Proporsional Integral Derivatif), didapatkan nilai Kp sebesar 0,0239069, nilai Ki sebesar 0,0001382 serta nilai Kd sebesar 0,053518. Nilai parameter tersebut didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode optimalisasi PSO dengan jumlah iterasi sebanyak 50 Iterasi. Dari hasil uji dengan set point 40, 60, 80 dan 100 rpm, didapatkan bahwa sistem mampu mencapai set point dengan overshoot maksimum mencapai 26,25% dan nilai rise time lebih cepat jika dibandingkan tanpa kontroller yakni 181 detik. ========================================================================================================= Wind turbine blade on a move because of the lift force and drag force is generated. During the process of conversion on wind energy motion into electrical energy, there is no doubt that there is a loss of energy. One power optimization techniques in wind turbines is by implementing the use of controls on the turbine blade pitch angle so that the power output of the wind turbines in optimal conditions. In the design of the wind turbine, the component that needed is a wind turbine blade, servo motors as actuators, rotational connector and a rotary encoder as transmitter. The test results, the maximum value of wind turbine prototype Power Coefficient (CP), 0.57510. By applying the control method PID (Proportional Integral Derivative), Kp values obtained by 0.0239069, 0.0001382 amounting Ki value and Kd value of 0.053518. The parameter values obtained using PSO optimization method with the number of iterations is 50. From the set point test of 40, 60, 80 and 100 rpm, it was found that the system is able to achieve the set point with a maximum overshoot reached 26.25% with rise time faster than without the controller that is 181 seconds.
