Abstract
Penelitian mengenai pengaruh Co(II) pada analisis besi(III) dengan pengompleks 1,10-fenantrolin pada pH 3,5 telah dilakukan secara spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Kompleks Fe(III)-Fenantrolin memiliki panjang gelombang maksimum 363 nm. Koefisien korelasi (r) yang diperoleh pada kurva kalibrasi adalah 0,997. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ion Co(II) mulai mengganggu kompleks Fe(III)-Fenantrolin pada konsentrasi 0,4 ppm dengan nilai persen (%) recovery sebesar 72,05%, nilai standar deviasi relatif (RSD) sebesar 16,36 ppt, dan nilai koefisien variasi (CV) sebesar 1,6%.

Research on the effect of Co (II) on analysis iron (III) with 1,10-fenantrolin complex at pH 3.5 has been carried out by UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Complex Fe (III) -Fenantrolin has maximum wavelength at 363 nm. The correlation coefficient (r) obtained in the calibration curve was 0.997. The analysis showed that the ion Co (II) complexes begin to interfere Fe(III)-Fenantrolin at a concentration 0,4 ppm with a value percent (%) recovery as 72,05%, the relative standard deviation (RSD) as 16.36 ppt, and the coefficient of variation (CV) as 1,6%.
