Abstract

Ditentukan Volume of Interest (VOI) dengan perkiraan posisi
auditory cortex (A1) di 16≤ x ≤ 20; 7 ≤ y ≤ 10 | 23 ≤ y ≤ 26 dan

Observation of human brain auditory activity was done by
interpreting 32-channels ECVT Brain Scanner's images. Single
tone stimuli was presented to the right ear of subjects. Brain
activity scanning was also done using EEG as a comparison.
ECVT's measurement data was being reconstructed into
permittivity distribution (brain image) by applying average
subtraction method and ILBP algorithm. The distance of centroid
from each image was being calculated to find composite area.
Estimated location of auditory cortex is selected by determining
Volume of Interest in the area of 16≤ x ≤ 20; 7 ≤ y ≤ 10 | 23 ≤ y ≤
26 and 23 ≤ z ≤ 26. Composite area obtained from centroid's
distance calculation and then being segmented based on color scale
in 0.8 - 1. Recorded EEG activity occured in alpha rythm, with
strong correlation of ERP pattern at 30 ms, 45 ms, and 130 ms.
Potential action recorded has a negative polarity with amplitude
1.6μV. ERP pattern of all subjects have correlation coefficient
larger than 0.5 except S4. In all conditions, ECVT image shows
strong correlation with coefficient of correlation larger than 0.5.
