Abstract
PT. Semen Tonasa sebagai salah satu pabrik semen terbesar di
kawasan Indonesia Timur melakukan rencana penambahan pabrik baru
Tonasa V dan generator baru 2 x 35 MW untuk menunjang proses
produksi. Dengan penambahan beban dan pembangkit muncul
permasalahan pada sistem kelistrikannya, yaitu sering terjadi padam total
(blackout) pada saat terjadi gangguan, sehingga kontinuitas daya
terganggu. Melalui tugas akhir ini dilaksanakan studi koordinasi proteksi
pada PT. Semen Tonasa yang tepat dalam mendeteksi dan mengisolir
gangguan sehingga tidak mengganggu sistem yang berjalan dan
mencegah kerusakan peralatan listrik.
Dari hasil plot koordinasi kurva arus waktu kondisi existing dapat
diketahui bahwa terdapat misscoordination dan overlaping. Melalui hasil
analisis dan perhitungan manual direkomendasikan penyetelan pick up
rele arus lebih dan penyetelan grading time rele. Rele yang perlu disetel
ulang adalah rele arus lebih gangguan fasa (overcurrent relay) dan rele
arus lebih gangguan tanah (ground fault relay). Setting rele gangguan
tanah untuk trafo distribusi 6.3kV dengan sistem pentahanan NGR 400A
mengaktfikan setting 50G dan 51G, oleh karena itu untuk rele arus lebih
gangguan tanah direkomendasikan penggunaan setting rele 51G dengan
kurva definite karena besar gangguan satu fasa ke tanah merupakan
gangguan hubung singkat dan nilainya sesuai dengan NGR.

PT . Semen Tonasa as one of the largest cement plant in the eastern
of Indonesia is planning to add new plants Tonasa V and new generator
2 x 35 MW to support the production process. With the addition of load
and generation, problems occur in the electrical system, the blackout
often occur during a fault, so the continuity of power is being interrupted.
Through this final project carried out the correct studies on the
coordination of electrical system protection in order to detecting and
isolating the fault so the running system is not disturbed and prevent
damage to electrical equipment.
The results of time current curve in exisiting conditions can be seen
that there are misscoordination and overlapping. Through the analysis
and manual calculation result, give the recommendation to reset pick up
setting and grading time of overcurrent relays. Relays that need to be
reset are phase fault overcurrent relays and ground fault relay. Ground
fault relay setting for distribution transformators 6.3 kV with grounding
system NGR 400A activate 50G and 51G setting, so that setting of ground
fault relays is recommended to use 51G with definite curve because the
single line to ground fault current is a short circuit fault and matching to
the NGR value.
