Abstract

Sejarah merupakan kejadian yang telah terjadi di masa lampau yang banyak meninggalkan pelajaran yang berharga. Pelajaran yang dapat dipelajari salah satunya dari sejarah kerajaan nusantara, yaitu banyak mengajarkan sikap kepemimpinan. Pengetahuan akan sejarah yang banyak mengingatkan peristiwa penting di masa lalu telah memudar dengan rendahnya minat untuk mempelajari dan mengetahui tentang sejarah. Rendahnya minat anak disebabkan oleh metode belajar yang kurang sesuai dengan karakter anak sehingga menjadikan anak tidak tertarik untuk belajar dan media yang ada kurang merepresentasikan keseluruhan materi. Dalam perancangan board game ini, perancang menggunakan metode riset kualitatif antara lain observasi, depth interview dengan guru kelas Sekolah Dasar, serta studi literatur mendalam tentang psikologi bermain anak, kurikulum 2013, dan board game. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah media permainan papan edukasi yang mengusung konsep “Retell And Remember The History”, sebuah permainan imajinatif yang menggabungkan permainan peran dan cerita. Permainan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa terhadap pelajaran sejarah atau IPS serta menjadikan permainan ini sebagai alternatif media untuk guru dan sekolah sebagai acuan media belajar diluar buku pendamping. ================================================================================================================== The history is many events that have occurred in the past which left many valuable lessons. The valuable lessons can be learned from the royal history of the archipelago, which is teaching about attitude of leadership. Knowledge of history that reminds many important events in the past have faded, that can be seen from a bit of next generation who have interest to learn and know about histor. The children have low interest caused by diminished learning method in accordance with the character of children making the child is not interested in learning and the existing media is less representing the whole lesson In designing board game, designer use qualitative methods such observation, depth interview with elementary school teachers, as well as in-depth study of the literature on the psychology of playing children, the curriculum of 2013, and board game. Output from this designing is a education board game that bring concept “Retell And Remember The History”, a imaginative game that combines role play dan stories. This game is expected to increase student interest to history lesson and making this boardgame as an alternative for the teachers and the school as a reference for learning beyond the companion book.
