Abstract

Sistem kelistrikan PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur II ( PKT II) telah di integrasikan sejak tahun 2009 untuk meningkatkan kontinuitas dan keandalan sistem bagi seluruh plant. Sehingga terdapat penambahan beban dan pembangkit baru. Penambahan beban dan pembangkit baru akan memberikan arus hubung singkat yang besar pada kelistrikan PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur II ( PKT II). Saat terjadi arus gannguan hubung singkat ½ cycle pada switchgear PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur II ( PKT II), arus gangguan tersebut melebihi rating kapasitasnya, dimana kapasitas ratingnya sebesar 37.8 kA peak, sedangkan arus hubung singkat ½ cycle pada switchgear sebesar 67.41 kA peak. Oleh sebab itu digunakan pemasangan SISFCL untuk membatasi arus hubung singkat tersebut. pemasangan SISFCL ini dipasang pada feeder transformator TR-K2-02 dan feeder generator GTG-K2, dimana feederfeeder ini yang menyumbangkan arus hubung singkat terbesar. Akibat pemasangan SISFCL ini dapat mengurangi besarnya arus hubung singkat dari 67.41 kA peak menjadi 35.751 kA peak.Pemasangan SISFCL menunjukkann arus hubung singkat semakin berkurang sehingga mengakibatkan perubahan koordinasi proteksi arus lebih. Studi koordinasi ini digunakan untuk mengetahui sistem kelistikan ini apakah sistem pengamannya bekerja dengan baik. Hasil analisa ini ditampilkan dalam bentuk kurva time current characteristic (TCC) ==================================================================================== Electrical systems PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur II (PKT II) has been integrated since 2009 to improve the continuity and reliability of the system for the entire plant. So that there is additional load and new generation. The addition of the load and the new generation will provide a large short circuit currents in the electrical PT. East Kalimantan fertilizer II (PKT II). When there is a short circuit currents fault ½ cycle in switchgear PT. East Kalimantan fertilizer II (PKT II), the fault current exceeds the rating capacity, where the capacity of its rating of 37.8 kA peak, while the short circuit current in the switchgear ½ cycle of 67.41 kA peak. Therefore, using mounting SISFCL for limitting the short circuit current. SISFCL installation is mounted on the feeder transformer TR-K2-02 and feeder generator GTG-K2, where feeder-feeder who supply the largest short-circuit current. Due to the installation of this SISFCL can reduce the amount of short circuit current of 67.41 kA peak into 35 751 kA peak. Installation SISFCL cause short circuit current decrease and make a different coordination overcurrent protection. This coordination studies are used to determine whether the electrical system works well. The analysis results are displayed in the form of currenttime curve characteristic (TCC)
