Abstract

Pemerintah Kota Surabaya berencana untuk mengembangkan Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). MRT yang dipilih adalah trem dan monorel. Pengadaan MRT ini dimaksudkan agar dapat meningkatkan daya tarik angkutan umum sehingga dapat mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi. Dengan berkurangnya kendaraan pribadi diharapkan dapat mengurangi tingkat kemacetan dan kecelakaan lalu lintas. Untuk pengoperasian MRT diperlukan adanya fasilitas penunjang, salah satunya adalah halte untuk trem. Penentuan lokasi dan jumlah halte memiliki peran yang penting dalam penggunaan moda trem. Pada penelitian ini, penentuan lokasi dan jumlah halte trem ditentukan dengan menggunakan model Set Covering Problem dan diperoleh hasil lokasi dan jumlah halte trem yang optimal. =================================================================================================== Surabaya City Government plans to develope Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). MRT is selected tram and monorail. MRT procurement is intended to increase the attractiveness of public transport so as to reduce the use of private vehicles. With the reduction of private vehicles is expected to reduce the level of congestion and traffic accidents. For the operation of MRT needed support facilities, one of which is the stop for tram. Determining the location and number of stops has an important role in the use of modes of the tram. In this study, the determination of the location and number of tram stop is determined by using the Set Covering Problem models and the results obtained and the location of the optimal number of tram stops.
