Abstract
Tugas Akhir ini membahas teknik deteksi kerusakan batang rotor
pada motor induksi yang berbasis bi-spectrum. Metode Bi-spectrum
diaplikasikan pada sinyal arus stator dengan tingkat pembebanan yang
bervariasi. Bi-spectrum termasuk ke dalam Higher Order Spectral (HOS),
khusunya orde tiga yang diuraikan dengan Transformasi Fourier dengan
hasil output berupa contour bi-specrum dari sinyal arus stator dan
spectrum bicoherence. Deteksi kerusakan batang rotor (BRB) pada motor
induksi berbasis bi-spectrum lebih akurat dibandingkan dengan teknik
lain karena bi-spectrum memiliki sensivitas yang lebih tinggi terutama
saat motor induksi dioperasikan dalam pembebanan yang rendah
sehingga dapat membedakan secara jelas antara batang rotor yang sehat
dengan batang rotor yang rusak.
Deteksi BRB berdasarkan contour bi-spectrum kurang efektif
sehingga diperlukan normalisasi bi-spectrum (bicoherence). Deteksi
BRB berdasarkan spectrum bicoherence mampu mendeteksi frekuensi
baru yang timbul akibat BRB yang disebut dengan fenomena quadratic
phase coupling.

This thesis focuses on broken rotor bar detection by using bispectrum.
Bi-spectrum method is applied on stator current signal with
various load condition. Bi-spectrum is included in Higher Order Spectral
(HOS) class, specifically is the third order which is described by Fourier
Transform and it results bi-spectrum contour of stator current signals and
bicoherence spectrum. Broken rotor bar detection in induction motor by
using bi-spectrum is more accurate than other techniques, because bispectrum
has higher sensitivity especially when induction motor is
operating at low load levels. Hence, bi-spectrum can distinguish between
healthy and broken rotor bar evidently.
BRB detection based on contour bi-spectrum is less effective so
bi-spectrum normalization (bicoherence) is needed. BRB detection based
on spectrum bicoherence is able to detect new frequencies that generated
because BRB which is called quadratic phase coupling phenomenon.
