Abstract

Pendangkalan Sungai Sambong menjadi masalah yang sedang dihadapi oleh Pelabuhan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Batang. Karena itu, alur Sungai Sambong perlu dikeruk agar aktivitas perekonomian di PPI Batang semakin meningkat. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain kapal keruk dengan tipe plain suction yang beroperasi di alur sungai Indonesia, khususnya di alur muara sungai Sambong, Batang, Jawa Tengah yang mengalami pendangkalan akibat sedimentasi. Proses desain diawali dengan penentuan ukuran utama kapal awal dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier. Kemudian dilakukan perhitunganperhitungan teknis yang meliputi perhitungan hambatan, berat kapal, lambung timbul, trim dan stabilitas serta biaya pembangunan kapal untuk mendapatkan ukuran utama kapal yang optimal. Owner requirements meliputi sarat kapal (T) = 1 m. Ukuran utama kapal optimal yang didapatkan adalah, L = 19,388 m, B = 6,625 m, H = 1,667 m, dan T = 1 m. Dari data kapal tersebut kemudian dibuat lines plan dan general arrangement. ====================================================================================== Siltation of river sambong is one of problems being faced by Pelabuhan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI), Batang. Therefore, the flow of river Sambong needs to be dredged in order to increase economic activities in PPI Batang. The main aim of this research is to obtain the design of a plain suctiontyped dredger operating in the downstream path of rivers in Indonesia, particularly in the downstream path of river Sambong, Batang, Central Java, which has siltation due to sedimentation. The design process begins with the determination of the ship's initial main dimensions using a linear regression method. The next step is technical calculations which include the calculation of ship resistance, ship weight, freeboard, trim and stability as well as shipbuilding costs to obtain the ship’s optimal main dimensions. One of that the owner requirements are the ship’s draft (T) = 1 m. From these calculations, it is obtained the ship’s optimal main dimensions are, L= 19,388 m, B= 6,625 m, H= 1,667 m, and T= 1 m. Using these main dimensions, furthermore, lines plan and general arrangement can be made.
