Abstract

Dengan meningkatnya angka mobilisasi masyarakat kota
Surabaya, perlu didukung transportasi umum yang baik dan layak.
Akan tetapi pada kenyataannya kota Surabaya masih belum
terlayani oleh moda transportasi yang baik. Banyak angkutan
umum seperti bus kota, komuter maupun lyn di kota Surabaya
kurang teratur dan dalam kondisi yang kurang layak, sehingga
masyarakat kota Surabaya lebih memilih untuk menggunakan
kendaraan pribadi dan menyebabkan kemacetan. Dalam
penyelesaian masalah transportasi umum yang terjadi di kota
Surabaya, maka dibutuhkan moda tranportasi umum trem, yang
dapat mengangkut penumpang dalam jumlah banyak, dan lebih
teratur dalam pelaksanaannya serta perawatannya.
Dalam perencanaannya didapat dua alternatif rute,
pemilihan alternatif dilakukan dengan melihat lebar jalan yang
layak untuk dilewati trem. Untuk menganalisa demand dan
pemilihans salah satu rute dari dua alternatif, menggunakan metode
furness dan pembebanan. Analisa moda diperlukan untuk
menentukan headway, load factor, jumlah armada dan waktu
berhenti. Dalam perencanaan geometri jalan rel berfungsi
mengetahui jalur rel trem yang melewati rute terpilih.
Hasil studi yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan rute dengan
total panjang 25.3 km terdiri dari 3 koridor. Dilayani 10 kendaraan
trem, dan menggunakan sistem double track.

The increasing number of peoples mobilization in the
Surabaya city, must be supported by a good and worthy public
transportation. But in fact Surabaya still not served by good
transportation modes. Many public transportation such as city bus,
commuter and lyn in Surabaya less regularly and not worthy
conditions, so that the people of Surabaya prefer to use Private
vehicles and causing traffic jams. To solve the problem of public
tranportation in Surabaya, trem is the requiered mode of public
transportation, wich can carry passenger in large quantities and
more regularly for the inmplementation and maintenance.
In planning to come by two alternative route, alternative
selection is done by looking at the width of the street that deserves
to be passed by tram. To analyze the demand and choose one of
the route from two alternatives, used furness method and loading.
Modal analysis is needed to determine headway, load factor, the
number of fleets and time stops . In planning the rail road geometry
serves to know the tram rail line that passes through the selected
route.
Results of the analysis that has been done, get the route
with a total length of 25.3 km consists of 3 corridor. Served with
10 tram vehicles, and used double track system.
