Abstract
bidang pertambangan.Untuk itu sangat diperlukan sistem kelistrikan
yang mampu mendukung kelancaran proses produksi .Dalam memenuhi
kebutuhan kelistrikan PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara memiliki
desain beban penuh(~112.177MW) menyebabkan perlu adanya skema
pelepasan beban sesaat agar sistem kembali stabil. Dalam kasus short
circuit tegangan 33kV perlakuan kliringi gagal mengembalikan sistem
sistem. Motor starting, ketika akan melakukan starting motor 50-PUM1
1500kW direkomendasikan dilakukan setting droop awal pada
generator coal plant saat 4 unit generator running.

PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara is in the mining industry.
Indispensable to the electrical system that is able to support the
production process. To meet the electricity needs of PT Newmont Nusa
Tenggara has a plant consisting of 4 units each steam generator with 34
MW generator berkapsitas, 9 units of machines diesel with a capacity of
5 MW and average daily load - average 110 MW. Given the start of
today was founded transient stability of the plant has not been analyzed
in depth, so that the transient stability studies need to be done to
determine the reliability of the system during a transient disturbance. In
this final analysis focused on transient stability analysis in case of load
shedding, generator outage, motor starting and short circuit. From the
simulation results show that the loss of one or two generators of emapat
generator units operate with a full load design load (~ 112.177MW) led
to the need for load shedding scheme, since the frequency of
substandard operations. In addition, the short circuit at 150 kV highvoltage
bus causing a blackout system for clearing that was done on the
system back stabil.Dan medium voltage 11kV, 6.6kV and 2.2 kV causes
the frequency down so it must be done clearing or load shedding while
to make the system stable again . In case of short circuit voltage of 33kV
kliringi treatment failed to restore stability so that the bus system is
experiencing a shor circuit must be removed from the system. Motor
starting, when starting the motor will perform a 50-PU-M1 1500kW
recommended setting droop done early on when the generator coal plant
running four generator units.
