Abstract

Dalam proses produksi terdapat berbagai macam risiko yang
berpeluang menyebabkan tidak tercapainya tujuan target produksi, atau
bahkan dapat berpotensi terjadinya bahaya. Salah satu studi untuk
mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya adalah studi Hazard and Operability
(HAZOP). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis HAZOPS pada sulfur
furnace unit asam sulfat pabrik III PT. Petrokima Gresik. Digunakan
tiga Node yang terdiri dari sulfur furnace, waste heat boiler, dan steam
superheater. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan 11 instrumen yang
terpasang pada ketiga Node dengan potensi bahaya tertinggi mencapai
level extreme berdasarkan standar AS/NZS 4360:2004 atau level high
berdasarkan standar pabrik terdapat pada deviasi low temperature
sulfur furnace dan high temperature sulfur fur furnace. Untuk level SIL
didapatkan level SIL 1 pada SIS yang terpasang pada Node sulfur
furnace dengan PFD total 0,021 dan RRF sebesar 48,3 dan SIL 1 pada
waste heat boiler dengan nilai nilai PFD total 0,0184 dan RRF sebesar
54,32, sedangkan pada steam superheater tidak terdapat SIS yang
terpasang

In the production process, there are various risks that may
cause the achievement of production target is not met, or even could
potentially hazard. One of study to identify potential hazards is Hazard
and Operability Study (HAZOPS). In this research, The HAZOPS
analysis of the sulfur furnace unit sulfuric acid fabrique III PT.
Petrokima Gresik. Used three nodes consisting of sulfur furnace, waste
heat boiler, and the steam superheater. Based on the analysis results
obtained 11 instruments mounted on all of nodes with the highest hazard
potential reach extreme levels based on the standard AS / NZS 4360:
2004 or a high level based on the standard deviation of the factory are
on the low temperatur sulfur furnace and high temperatur sulfur
furnace. At the SIL determination, obtain level SIL 1 on SIS installed on
Node sulfur furnace with a total of PFD 0,021 and RRF 48.3 and SIL 1
in waste heat boiler with values total of PFD 0.0184 and RRF 54.32,
while the steam superheater SIS are not installed
