Abstract

Sistem komunikasi radio High Frequency (HF) memiliki

Radio communication systems High Frequency (HF) has the
advantage that can provide long-distance transmission, relatively low
cost and flexible. HF communication system using the ionosphere as a
medium wave transmission. The signal from the antenna will propagates
in the ionosphere and the media will then be reflected towards the
receiver. Media ionosphere change its height according to the density of
electrons contained therein. Ionosphere layer consists of layers D, E, F1
and F2. Ionosphere F2 layer merupkan trepenting in HF
communications systems. This is because there is always the F2 layer
when the layer bawhanya disappeared. A layer ionospheric electron
density depends on sunlight, climate, and location. The difference in
height of the ionosphere affects the HF frequency that can be reflected.
The higher the electron density of the ionosphere, the frequency can be
reflected is that the higher the frequency. HF radio communication
system is used for long-distance communication systems. The farther
the distance from the transmitter to the receiver, the propagation delay
will be even greater. Moreover, coupled with the propagation medium
changes depending on the frequency reflective layer. Then track mileage
will vary and affect the propagation delay.
