Abstract

Air laut mengandung 3,5% garam- (ion Cl⁻) yang dapat menggerogoti kekuatan dan keawetan beton yang mampu melarutkan beton, sehingga yang tertinggal hanyalah batu - batu kerikil dan pasir tanpa semen. Penetrasi ion Cl− di dalam beton dapat menyebabkan terjadinya korosi pada beton bertulang. Kombinasi antara fly ash dan rasio antara Natrium Hidroksida dan Natrium Silikat berpengaruh pada proses penetrasi ion chloride pada beton. Jumlah fly ash yang lebih banyak dan rasio antara Sodium Hidroksida dan Sodium Silikat yang lebih kecil mampu menghasilkan beton yang memiliki perlawanan yang lebih baik terhadap ion chloride di lingkungan air laut Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa kuat tekan beton geopolimer paling maksimum ada pada variasi 12M : 2,5. Dengan selisih nilai laju potensial paling rendah sebesar - 202mV. ======================================================================================= Sea water contains 3.5% salts (ions Cl⁻) that undermined the strength and durability of concrete which is capable of dissolving the concrete, so that is left is the stone - gravel and sand without cement. Cl ion penetration in concrete can cause corrosion in reinforced concrete. The combination of fly ash and the ratio of Sodium Hydroxide and Sodium Silicate effect on the penetration of chloride ion in concrete. The amount of fly ash that is more and the ratio of Sodium Hydroxide and Sodium Silicate smaller capable of producing concrete has better resistance to chloride ions in sea water environment From this research it is known that most of geopolymer concrete compressive strength at maximum no variation 12M: 2.5.
