Abstract

Kestabilan area pertambangan terutama pada area disposal (waste dump) dan fasilitas jalan tambang (hauling road) pada industri pertambangan adalah salah satu permasalahan yang penting saat ini. Ketidakstabilan lereng di area disposal dapat terjadi sewaktu-waktu. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan pengujian tanah pada area pertambangan PT. Adaro Indonesia yang berlokasi di Kalimantan Selatan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh dari bahan Ecocure21 sebagai stabilisator pada campuran tanah-semen dan campuran tanah-kapur sebagai dasar atau pondasi dari suatu area disposal dan juga sebagai dasar dari perkerasan pada fasilitas jalan tambang (hauling road). Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium dan lapangan.
Dari penelitian ini, pada kondisi tanah asli tanpa Ecocure21 untuk area disposal didapatkan nilai kadar air benda uji sebesar 29,3%, nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 21,40%, nilai kuat tekan bebas 271,2 kPa, nilai CBR laboratorium sebesar 21% dan nilai kristalinisasi benda uji sebesar 71,0264%. Sedangkan untuk area parking bay didapatkan nilai kadar air 8,2%, nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 6%, nilai kuat tekan bebas 112,432% dan nilai CBR laboratorium sebesar 36%.
Pada kondisi benda uji tanah asli + Ecocure21 untuk area disposal didapatkan nilai kadar air sebesar 28,4%, nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 18%, nilai kuat tekan bebas meningkat menjadi 1045,33 kPa, nilai CBR laboratorium menjadi 39% dan nilai kristalinisasi benda uji menjadi 78,8926%. Sedangkan untuk area parking bay didapatkan nilai kadar air 7,8%, nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 5,10%, nilai kuat tekan bebas 447,908% dan nilai CBR laboratorium sebesar 48%.
Pada kondisi benda uji tanah asli + Ecocure21 + kapur untuk area disposal didapatkan nilai kadar air sebesar 26%, nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 16,10%, nilai kuat tekan bebas meningkat menjadi 1134,56 kPa, nilai CBR laboratorium menjadi 49% dan nilai kristalinisasi benda uji menjadi 72,9381%. Sedangkan untuk area parking bay didapatkan nilai kadar air 7,1%, nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 4,8%, nilai kuat tekan bebas 542,435% dan nilai CBR laboratorium sebesar 121%.
Pada kondisi benda uji tanah asli + Ecocure21 + semen untuk area disposal didapatkan nilai kadar air sebesar 24,8%, nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 18,10%, nilai kuat tekan bebas meningkat menjadi 1543,67 kPa dan nilai kristalinisasi benda uji menjadi 62,9166%.
Pada pengujian lapangan untuk area parking bay diperoleh nilai CBR lapangan untuk kondisi tanah asli sebesar 56,46%, untuk kondisi tanah asli + Ecocure21 menurun menjadi 22,68% dan untuk kondisi tanah asli + Ecocure21 + kapur sebesar 33,27%.
Nilai faktor keamanaan lereng untuk area disposal sebelum penambahan Ecocure21 yaitu 1,154, pada kondisi tanah asli + Ecocure21 menjadi 1,482, pada kondisi tanah asli + Ecocure21 + semen adalah 1,514, sedangkan pada kondisi tanah asli + Ecocure21 + kapur menjadi 1,51.

The stability of the mining areas, especially in the disposal area (waste dump) and the mines road facilities (hauling road) in the mining industry is one of the important issues today. The disposal area slope instability can occur at any time. To overcome these problems, the testing ground have been done in the mining area of PT. Adaro Indonesia located in South Kalimantan.
This research aims to study the effect of material Ecocure21 as a stabilizer in the soil-cement mixture and mix the soil-lime as the base or foundation of a disposal area and the base of the hauling road. This research was conducted in the laboratory and field.
This research, the original soil conditions without Ecocure21 for disposal area obtained value water content the specimen is 29.3%, plasticity index value of 21.40%, the value of compression strength test (UCS) is 271,2 kPa, laboratory CBR value of 21% and crystallization the specimen value of 71.0264%. While parking bay area, was obtained water content of 8.2%, the value of plasticity index of 6%, the value of compression strength test (UCS) is 112,432 kPa and Laboratory CBR value of 36%.

The mixture of soil + Ecocure21 + lime, for disposal area obtained value water content the specimen is 26%, plasticity index value of 16,10%, the value of compression strength test (UCS) increase to 1134,56 kPa, laboratory CBR value of 49% and crystallization the specimen value of 72,9381%. While parking bay area,
was obtained water content of 7,1%, the value of plasticity index of 4,8%, the value of
compression strength test (UCS) is 542,435 kPa and Laboratory CBR value of 121%.
The mixture of soil + Ecocure21 + cement, for disposal area obtained value
water content the specimen is 24,8%, plasticity index value of 18,10%, the value of
compression strength test (UCS) increase to 1543,67 kPa and crystallization the
specimen value of 62,9166%.
In the field tests for the parking bay area, Field CBR values obtained for the
original soil conditions by 56.46%, for the original soil conditions + Ecocure21
decreased to 22.68% and for the original soil conditions + Ecocure21 + lime of
33.27%.
The value of the safety factor of the slope to the disposal area before the
addition Ecocure21 ie 1,154, the original soil conditions + Ecocure21 becoming
1,482, the mixture of soil + Ecocure21 + cement has a value of 1,514, while the
mixture of soil + Ecocure21 + lime becoming 1,51.
