Abstract

Azotobacter is an aerobic bacteria that is found in rhizosphere and have ability to fix nitrogen. Azotobacter A1b, A3, A6, A9, and A10 which were isolated from the Eco Urban Farming ITS field not only able to fix nitrogen but also dissolve phosphate and potassium. Based on the potential of the consortium, the Azotobacter can be used as a composting agent for bulk biofertilizer. The biofertilizer product requires packaging by converting the bulk biofertilizer to granule to make this product more easy to use. It was used adhesives of tapioca starch, clay, and gum arabica are 5% each. Granular biofertilizer with a shelf life of 0, 1, and 2 months respectively analyzed nitrate availability, phosphate dissolved, potassium availability, and viability of Azotobacter
The result is the viability on all three adhesives of granular biofertilizer with Azotobacter consortium has same. Tapioca starch adhesives are more effectively used, can maintain nutrients (NPK), economical prices, fast dispersion process, and higher of nutrients (NPK) than gum arab and clay after 2 months storage.
