Abstract

Food endurance is the condition where the food fulfillment is managed well for the country till the individual. Indonesia is one of the country which has the commitment to create the food endurance becomes main priority. However, the food necessity becomes common thing means that it doesn’t care about nutrient standard and the health condition of family member, so in the fulfillment of food necessity also has to consider the disease suffered by the family member, one of them is lungs tuberculosa. From that reasons, this research is conducted to know the factors which influence on food endurance status of the household suffered from lungs tuberculosa in term of case study in public health center of Surabaya coastal area by using binary logistics regression method. The analysis result by using binary logistics regression shows that the following variables: the wife’s educational level, the density of house inhabitant and the wide of house ventilation influence significantly on the food endurance status of the household suffered from lungs tuberculosa in the Surabaya coastal area, where the wife’s educational level is university, the density of house inhabitant is 8 m2/ individual and the wide of house ventilation 10% from the wide of the floor have the probability to become the household with the level of food endure in the amount of 0,911089. The model used in the modelling of food endurance status on the household suffered from lungs tuberculosa in the Surabaya coastal area was suitable with the classification accuracy percentage in the amount of 71,8%.
