Abstract
Data survei pelanggan terkait persepsi kualitas layanan seluler
di ITS Sukolilo menyebutkan bahwa 80% pelanggan memberikan
persepsi sedang-buruk terhadap layanan seluler berbasis data. Salah satu
penyebabnya adalah kondisi Kampus ITS Sukolilo sebagai daeah urban
dimana banyak bangunan dan gedung bertingkat yang mengakibatkan
banyaknya shadow area. Distributed Antenna System atau dikenal
dengan BTS Hotel menawarkan teknologi base station yang dipusatkan
pada satu lokasi yang akan melayani beberapa remote site. Pada setiap
remote site tersebut akan dihubungkan langsung oleh sebuah single fiber
untuk menjangkau area yang tidak bisa terlayani maksimal.
Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk merancang BTS
Hotel di Kampus ITS Sukolilo sebagai solusi dari perluasan area
layanan dan peningkatan kapasitas layanan dengan melakukan
perencanaan capacity planning, coverage planning dan jaringan fiber
optic. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengestimasi jumlah pole dan luas
cakupan dari setiap sel serta bentuk jaringan fiber optic.
Hasil perancangan menggunakan konfigurasi A multiplecarrier
Multiple-technology configuration. Nilai OBQ yang didapat dari
perancangan sebesar 27,95 Mbps/Km2 untuk jaringan 3G UMTS dan
10,51 Mbps/Km2 untuk jaringan 4G LTE. Jumlah pole dari hasil
perancangan sebanyak 14 pole, dengan luas cakupan 0,098 Km2/sel dan
radius 194,5 m. Sedangkan untuk jaringan fiber optic, menggunakan
Single Mode Multi Core Fiber Optik dengan 16 core yang membutuhkan
panjang total kabel sekitar 7.035 m.

The survey data related to customer perceptions of the quality
of cellular service in Sukolilo ITS mentions that 80% of customers give
the perception of being-bad towards data-based mobile services. One
reason is the condition Campus ITS Sukolilo as urban elapsed areas
where many buildings and high rise buildings which resulted in many
shadow areas. Distributed Antenna System, known as BTS offers
technology base station is centered on one location that will serve
multiple remote sites. At each remote site will be linked directly by a
single fiber to reach areas that can not be served optimally.
The purpose of this final project is to design a BTS Hotel in
Campus ITS Sukolilo as the solution of expansion of the service area
and increase the service capacity planning capacity planning, coverage
planning and fiber optic network. This was done to estimate the number
of poles and extensive coverage of every cell and fiber optic network
forms.
Results of the design using a Multiple-Carrier Multiple-
Technology configuration. OBQ values derived from the design of 27.95
Mbps / km2 for 3G UMTS networks and 10.51 Mbps / km2 for 4G LTE
network. Number of pole from the design's result as much as 14 pole,
with an coverage area of 0.098 Km2/cell and a radius of 194.5 m. As for
the fiber optic network, using Single Mode Multi Core Fiber Optic with
16 cores requires and a total cable length of approximately 7035 m.
