Abstract
Batu gamping merupakan salah satu sumber alternatif yang digunakan sebagai campuran bahan baku pakan ternak. Kualitas kadar air yang dihasilkan dari butiran halus (mash) dan butiran kasar (grit) batu gamping sangat perlu diperhatikan agar produk tersebut bisa diterima oleh pabrik pakan ternak dan kualitas dari pakan ternak yang diolah oleh pabrik pakan ternak bisa baik. Pengendalian kualitas yang dilakukan oleh CV Anugerah Abadi belum pernah dilakukan analisis kapabilitas namun hanya melalui pengendalian secara kimia dan secara deksriptif, oleh karena itu penelitian kali ini peneliti ingin menganalisis kualitas dari butiran halus (mash) dan butiran kasar (grit) batu gamping dengan menentukan indeks kapabilitas proses di CV Anugerah Abadi Tuban. Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa peta kendali p untuk proporsi karung produk mash, grit 2 mm, grit 3 mm, dan grit 4 mm di CV Anugerah Abadi Tuban fase 1 dan fase 2 Bulan Februari 2017 telah terkendali secara statistik dan menyebar secara acak di dalam batas kendali. Proses penggilingan dan pendapatan kadar air sebesar 1%-2% dari produk butiran halus (mash) dan butiran kasar (grit) 2 mm batu gamping di CV Anugerah Abadi fase 1 dan fase 2 Bulan Februari 2017 dapat dikatakan kapabel sedangkan produk butiran kasar (grit) 3 mm dan butiran kasar (grit) 4 mm batu gamping di CV Anugerah Abadi fase 1 dan fase 2 Bulan Februari 2017 tidak kapabel karena nilai indeks kapabilitas yang dihasilkan lebih kecil dari 1.

Lime Stone are one of the alternative raw material that can be used as a mixture for livestock feed. The quality of water level that produced from soft particles (mash) and hard particles (grit) from lime stone is necessary to note so that it may be approved by Livestock factory and that the feed that produced by the manufacturer are in best quality. Quality control that is regulated by CV Anugerah Abadi has never received a capability analysis but only through chemical control and descriptively. Therefore, this research is about analyzing quality of the soft (mash) and hard (grit) particles of the lime stone by determining the Process Capability Index at CV Anugerah Abadi Tuban. The result of the analysis indicates that the p-control chart for the proportion of the production sack of mash, 2mm grit, 3mm grit, and 4mm grit at phase 1 and phase 2 on February 2017 at CV Anugerah Abadi has been controlled statistically and spreading randomly in controlled limit. The grinding and the extraction of water level about 1% - 2% from the soft particles (mash) and hard particles (grit) from a 2mm lime stone at phase 1 and phase 2 on February 2017 at CV Anugerah Abadi can be classified as ‘capable’ whereas the hard particles of 3mm (grit) and 4mm (grit) of lime stone at phase 1 and phase 2 on February 2017 at CV Anugerah Abadi are not ‘capable’ due to lower than 1 Capability Index that it produces.
