Abstract
PT. X merupakan perusahaan manufaktur terbesar dan terkemuka yang bergerak di bidang Komponen Elektronik, dimana salah satu komponen produk relay yang memiliki peranan cukup penting adalah Hinged Spring dengan karakteristik kualitas variabel yaitu angle dalam. Perusahaan menentukan kualitas terhadap produk Hinged Spring selama ini hanya menggunakan checksheet dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan berdasarkan turunan drawing product. Dari hasil pemeriksaan tersebut belum pernah dilakukan evaluasi dengan menggunakan analisis kapabilitas proses sehingga tidak diketahui apakah hasil proses produksi sudah kapabel atau tidak. Hasil analisis kapabilitas proses Hinged Spring pada periode April 2017 dimana sebelumnya dilakukan pengendalian kualitas statistika dengan peta diketahui bahwa proses telah terkendali secara statistika namun tidak kapabel. Akar penyebab dari ketidaksesuaian angle dalam pada produk Hinged Spring cenderung disebabkan oleh faktor mesin yang bermasalah dan faktor metode set up mesin yang kurang jelas.

PT. X is the largest and leading manufacturing company engaged in the Electronic Components, where one component of relay products that have an important role is Hinged Spring with variable quality characteristics of the angle in. The company determines the quality of the Hinged Spring product so far only uses checksheets with specified specifications based on the drawing product derivative. From the results of the examination has not been done the evaluation by using process capability analysis so it is not known whether the production process is already capable or not. The result of Hinged Spring process capability analysis in April 2017 period which previously conducted statistical quality control with chart known that process has been controlled statistically but not capable. The root cause of angle disproportions in Hinged Spring products is likely to be caused by problematic machine factors and less obvious set up methods.
