Abstract

Ngipik Landfill in the planning will be made in sanitary landfill system. In the reality, that landfill uses open dumping system. This problem makes contamination occur easily, both pollution of soil, water and air. Seven acquisition lines geoelectrical measurement with wenner-schlumberger array have been done during the dry season and wet season to identify and to know the direction and pattern of leachate migration at each season. Groundwater parameter measurements and laboratory resistivity tests have also been performed. 2D resistivity inversion results have been verified with groundwater measurement and laboratory resistivity tests to obtain a quantitative interpretation. The results showed that of the 7 line measured, 6 line were identified a leachate migration and just 3rd had not been found a leachate migration. Resistivity value that interpreted to leachate migration is 0.1 – 1.5 Ωm. Leachate migration have direction from Southeast to Northwest following the contour of ground water elevation.
