Abstract

Tingkat konsumsi daging ayam di Indonesia saat ini tergolong masih rendah dibandingkan negara-negara tetangga. Berdasarkan data Kementrian Pertanian, tingkat konsumsi daging ayam masyarakat Indonesia pada 2015 baru mencapai 9,15 kilogram per kapita per tahun. Akan tetapi dengan melihat tren konsumsi daging ayam, Indonesia mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan setjen pertanian, dikatakan bahwa permintaan daging ayam tahun 2015-2019 diproyeksikan akan meningkat dengan pertumbuhan rata-rata sebesar 2,80 % per tahun.
Kondisi ini tentu akan menjadi sebuah peluang bagi pelaku-pelaku industri yang bergerak di bidang produksi daging ayam maupun olahan daging ayam untuk mendapatkan keuntungan yang sebanyak-banyaknya. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya perencanaan produksi yang optimal bagi pelaku-pelaku industri sebagai upaya memaksimalkan peluang tersebut.
Pada penelitian ini, digunakan metode goal programming untuk melakukan perencanaan produksi olahan daging ayam pada PT. Wonokoyo Jaya Corporindo Unit Further and Sausage Processing Plant. Penggunaan metode goal programming sendiri dipilih untuk melakukan pengambilan keputusan guna mencapai tujuan bisnis yang dihadapkan dengan batasan-batasan yang komplek pada perencanaan produksi.
Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan bisa digunakan oleh PT. Wonokoyo Jaya Corporindo Unit Further and Sausage Processing Plant sebagai salah satu pilihan metode dalam melakukan perencanaan produksi agar perusahaan senantiasa dapat memenuhi permintaan konsumen.

The level of chicken meat consumption in Indonesia is relatively low compared to southeast Asian countries. Based on data from the Ministry of Agriculture, the level of chicken meat consumption in Indonesia in 2015 only reached 9.15 kilograms per capita per year. However, by looking at the trend of chicken meat consumption, Indonesia has increased from year to year. Based on a study conducted by the general secretary of agriculture, it is concluded that demand for chicken meat in 2015-2019 is projected to increase with an average growth of 2.80% per year.
This condition is an opportunity for the industrial actors engaged in the production of chicken meat and processed chicken to get the benefits as much as possible. Therefore, it is necessary to have optimal production planning for industry in an effort to maximize the opportunity.
In this research, goal programming method is used to perform the processed chicken meat production planning at PT. Wonokoyo Jaya Corporindo Unit Further and Sausage Processing Plant. The use of goal programming method itself is chosen to make decisions in order to achieve business objectives faced with complex constraints on production planning.
The results of this study are expected to be used by PT. Wonokoyo Jaya Corporindo Unit Further and Sausage Processing Plant as one of choice method in doing production planning so that company always can fulfill consumer demand.
