Abstract

PT. PAL Indonesia (PERSERO) merupakan salah satu Perusahaan Perseroan Terbatas yang bergerak dalam bidang usaha produksi kapal perang dan kapal niaga, selain itu perusahaan juga memberikan jasa perbaikan dan pemeliharaan kapal, serta rekayasa umum dengan spesifikasi tertentu berdasarkan pesanan. Tantangan berat yang dihadapi perusahaan yaitu tuntutan konsumen akan peningkatan kualitas. Selama ini pengendalian kualitas PT.PAL Indonesia dilakukan secara deskriptif data dengan menggunakan injeksi ratio. Kelemahannya adalah hanya mengetahui persentase tingkat kecacatan yang terjadi dalam kurun waktu satu proyek. Perusahaan belum menggunakan analisis kapabilitas proses karena itu penelitian melakukan pengendalian kualitas menggunakan analisis kapabilitas dengan peta kendali demerit. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh adalah proses pengelasan tidak kapabel. Faktor yang menyebabkan 80% masalah pada proses pengelasan diakibatkan oleh jenis cacat Slag Inclusion, Porosity, Cluster Porosity. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh faktor manusia (welder), material dan lingkungan. Biaya perbaikan jika terjadi cacat pada pembuatan kapal SSV2 berkisar antara Rp 24.740.000,- sampai Rp 27.685.000,- ================================================================================================ PT .PAL Indonesia (persero) is one of the company limited in the sectors businesses producing battleship and commercial ship, in addition the company also grant the services of repairs and maintenance ship, and engineering common with certain specifications according to orders. The difficult challenges faced by company is consumer demands about quality improvement. During this the quality control of PT. PAL Indonesia is run with descriptif data using ratio injection. The weakness is just perceive the percentage level of defect within the period of one project. The company has not been using capability analysis process, because of that, this research using quality control by capability analysis with demerit control chart. The results of the analysis obtained was that the process of welding not capable. The causes of 80% a problem in the process of welding caused by a defect type of slag inclusion, porosity, cluster porosity. This was caused by the human factor (welder), material and the environment. The cost of improvement if there is a defect in shipbuilding SSV2 is ranging from Rp 24.740.000,- to Rp 27.685.000,-
