Abstract

Proses produksi pupuk ZA I di PT. Petrokimia Gresik hanya dilakukan secara analisis kimia, belum pernah dilakukan secara analisis statistika sehingga hasil yang diperoleh kurang informatif dan detail. Pengendalian kualitas secara statistika dilakukan untuk mengetahui indeks kapabilitas proses sehingga diketahui apakah proses talah kapabel atau belum serta mengetahui faktor faktor yang menyebabkan terdapat ketidaksesuaian pada proses produksi. Pada proses produksi pupuk ZA I terdapat 2 karakteristik kualitas yaitu crystal dan acidity dimana karakteristik kualitas tersebut saling dependen, sehingga digunakan peta kendali multivatiat yaitu peta kendali Generalized Variance untuk variabilitas proses serta peta kendali T2 Hotteling untuk mean proses. Hasil yang didapatkan dari analisis untuk proses produksi bulan Januari 2017 yaitu, proses produksi telah terkendali secara statistik baik pada variabilitas proses maupun mean proses. Faktor mesin yang spare dan menyebabkan pabrik berhenti produksi menjadi penyebab utama dari ketidaksesuaian pada proses produksi. Proses produksi pupuk ZA I di bulan Januari 2017 memiliki nilai Cp sebesar 1,423 dan di bulan Februari memiliki nilai Cp sebesar 2,342 yang berarti bahwa proses produksi telah kapabel atau kemempuan proses produksinya sangat baik.

Process producing of ZA I fertilizer at PT. Petrokimia Gresik only conducted in chemical analysis, Never been done in statistical analysis so that made the results are less informative and detailed. Statistical quality control is done to find out the process capability index so it is known whether the process has been capable or not and know the factors that cause the nonconformity in the production process. In ZA I fertilizer production process there are 2 quality characteristic that are crystal and acidity where the quality characteristic is dependent, so used multivariate control chart that is Generalized Variance control chart for process variability and T2 Hotteling control map for process mean. The results obtained from the analysis for the production process in January 2017 is the production process has been statistically controlled both on process variability and process mean. The spare engine factor causing the plant to stop production is the main cause of the non-conformance to the production process. ZA I fertilizer production process in January 2017 has a Cp value of 1.423 and Cp value of 2,342 in February 2017 which means that the production process has capabel or the ability of the production process is very good.
